Ladies Night Out Wildlife Hike

Need a chance to get away from the kids? Tired of focusing on work? Ladies, please join us for an evening wildlife hike at Yellow Creek State Park. We will explore for wildlife signs and sounds around the park.
Learn how to identify animal tracks, bird songs, frog calls, and other wildlife in the park. Bring water, wear long pants, hiking shoes, & snack. If you have binoculars, bring them or borrow ours. This program is geared for women, age 16 & older. We'll hike from 1.5 - 2 miles at a relaxing pace around Ridge Top, Bird Blind, and Day Use. Meet at Lakeview Pavilion in the Day Use Area.
Driving Directions from Park Office, 170 Rt 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA: Go past Park office on Rt 259. Go 3/4 to 1 miles past South Boat Launch. Turn right into Day Use Area. Go over small bridge & take 1st right. Go to 1st Pavilion and park by Lakeview.
