CHANGE IN TRAIL LOCATION- Due to recent rainy weather, the Old Mill Trail is in no condition to hike tomorrow :( .. We will be changing plans and meeting that the Marina Office tomorrow morning at 9am (directions below). The hike will be 4 miles on our paved bike path. We will learn about the history of Nockamixon and the wildlife we have throughout the park. Any questions, please email our Environmental Education Specialist at rsheeler@pa.gov

DIRECTIONS TO MARINA OFFICE FROM THE PARK OFFICE:

• 1. From the park office parking lot, head northeast by turning right onto Route 563/ Mountain View Drive.

•

• 2. Proceed 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Road and turn right.

•

• 3. Proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign (entering the park) and turn left.

•

• 4. Proceed 0.2 miles on Harrisburg School Rd until you reach the stop sign at the base of the hill. The building in front of you is the marina office.

•

• 5. Turn either left or right at the stop sign and park in one of the lots directly to the side of the marina office.

Take advantage of the last summer holiday and get out on the trails! Please wear appropriate walking shoes and bring layers, snacks and water!

Please bring the following with you for the walk:

• Your own binoculars if you would like them
• Extra water & snacks
•  Personal medicine (including but not limited to a personal inhaler, epi-pen, insulin, etc.)
• clothes/layers appropriate for the weather (at this time they are forecasting possible chance of showers for Saturday) 
• Appropriate footwear - absolutely NO FLIP-FLOPS or open-toed shoes will be permitted
