170 Route 259 Highway, Penn Run, PA 15765-5941
##SpringMigrationRoundUp #BirdingAtYellowCreek #CitizenScienceDid you know PA State Parks have a big competition every spring & fall on which park has the most birds coming through? Well, let's show how many awesome birds love Yellow Creek! We are a designated IBA or Important Birding Area for migrating and resident birds!
Join park educator, Lisa Meadows for a fun morning of birding around the park and tracking birds for Citizen Science. Borrow our binoculars or bring your own! Bring a pen to track birds on our check list or your smart phone with the Ebird App! Wear long pants, hiking shoes, and bring water & snacks. We will be driving to different sections of the park. Meet at the Environmental Learning Center.
