DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED - Due to extreme heat\, this program is cancelled.\n\
 nHowever\, the 8:30-10pm "Astronomy by Kayak" is still GO.\n\nThe world ke
 eps spinning\, and why not enjoy the setting sun from the vantage point of
  a kayak. All equipment (kayaks\, paddles\, vests) will be provided\, but 
 please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If 
 you can sit in a chair\, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.\n\nTh
 is program is for ages 12 and over. Although sponsored by Caledonia State 
 Park\, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir. If
  there will be thunderstorms\, the program will be cancelled.\n\nAlthough 
 participation is free\, pre-registrartion is required\, and is limited to 
 the twelve pirogues. Participants must sign a safety waiver\, and wear a l
 ife vest during the entire event. Hats\, sunscreen\, sunglasses\, water bo
