It is with deep sadness and embarrassment that I must cancel our kayak programs on September 30.

The Long Pine Reservoir renovation is now over four weeks behind schedule, and I am not legally allowed to access it..

My 2024 season begins in April, so begin watching then for the new season of kayak events.

The world keeps spinning, and why not enjoy the setting sun from the vantage point of a kayak. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.

This program is for ages 12 and over. Although sponsored by Caledonia State Park, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir. If there will be thunderstorms, the program will be cancelled.

Although participation is free, pre-registrartion is required, and is limited to the ten pirogues. Participants must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles, and water shoes are recommended. Any questions call 717-352-2161.
