Enjoy the peak of summer from a kayak paddle. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.

This program is specifically for TWEENS ages 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and their parents. Although sponsored by Caledonia State Park, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir. If there will be thunderstorms, the program will be cancelled.

Although participation is free, pre-registrartion is required, and is limited to the twelve pirogues. Participants/parents must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect spray, and water shoes are recommended. Any questions call 717-352-2161.
