Listen to the ripples of water and watch birds flittering around, from the tranquility of a kayak. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.

This program is for ages 12 and over. Although sponsored by Caledonia State Park, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir. If there will be thunderstorms, the program will be cancelled.

Although participation is free, pre-registrartion is required, and is limited to the ten pirogues. Participants must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Water bottles, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect spray, and water shoes are recommended. Any questions call 717-352-2161.
