Are you new to kayaking? Would you like to learn basic kayaking skills? Join the park educator to learn how to kayak and enjoy time on the lake. We will provide all the equipment including kayaks, life jackets, and paddles. You are welcome to bring your kayak with current launch permit, life jacket, whistle. Please indicate in registration if you need a kayak. If you don't tell us you need a kayak, one may not be available for you. 

This program is geared for adults and teens, age 13 & up. Teens must have a parent in the park to sign off release forms.  Life jackets must be worn for the program. Please wear shorts, t-shirts, & shoes that can get wet & bring water. Program is weather dependent. Must preregister.
