Just For Kids: Fish Prints
3 Family Camp Road, White Haven, PA 18661
Gyotaku, gyo meaning 'fish' and taku meaning 'rubbing' or 'impression,' is the ancient Japanese art of fish printing. Before there were photographs, fishermen were able to accurately depict the size of their prized catch before serving it as part of a delicious dinner. Bring the kids to the amphitheater at any time during this hour to make a fish print of their own. All materials are provided (including the rubber fish).
