Celebrate America’s 250th by learning about Jacobsburg's namesake Jacob Hubler and his role in the American Revolution! We'll learn what Jacobsburg looked like in the late 1700's while taking a walk to the ruins of the Jacobsburg Inn. Find out the role the inn played in the early years of our country, as well as some of the intriguing local folklore about what it became in its later years! This program will involve walking along roads and through parts of the forest that do not have established trails for about a quarter of a mile. You must be able to traverse uneven surfaces to attend this walk. We will continue on established trails for the remaining mile of the walk, for a total of 1.3 miles. There are two sessions of this walk on the same day, please choose one session. The program will start at the Connector Trail Parking Lot at 835 Jacobsburg Rd. Wind Gap, PA 18091.
