Don’t get lost in the woods! When your phone or GPS batteries die or you find yourself off of the trail, you had better be prepared! During this hands-on experience you’ll learn how to read a topographic map, how to use a compass, and how to put all that knowledge together to get from one place to another. All the equipment you will need is provided. Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes, there will be some hiking. Meet at the concession stand near the beach.
