*This program is for kids ages 7-15.*

Have a child interested in learning fly fishing but don’t know where to start? Join park staff as we go over the basics of fly fishing from the rod itself, to a few knots to get you started, to the flies we use. We’ll play a couple games to get some casting practice in. And if time allows, we may get some time fishing on the lake.

This program is FREE, and all equipment will be provided. If you have equipment of your own already you are more than welcome to bring it.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

This is a free program but you must register. There are only 10 spots available. Register with the Register button at the top of this page. Please be sure to register EACH child if you are signing multiple up. More information like exact meeting location will be emailed out to registrants upon registration. Registration will close on Wednesday April 30^th at 11:00pm.

This program will go on in the event of rain, but will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms.
