Intro to Maple Sugaring

Join us for an introduction to the process of making maple syrup from sap! We will tap a tree, go over methods of tapping and collectiong, identifying maples, and the basics of boiling. This will be a very brief crash course for those interested in learning more about the process. 

This program is free and will be held at the park office. We will start in the office looking at equipment, then proceed outside to our maple trees. The farthest we will walk is across the street to the Blue Ball Tavern, but bring comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing.
