Come experience outdoor rock climbing at one of the best climbing spots in the mid-Atlantic region! Park staff will teach the basics of rock climbing, safety and Leave No Trace ethics for climbers. Helmets, harnesses & climbing shoes are provided. This program is excellent for individuals and families alike, especially people who are interested in trying rock climbing for the first time. There is a ~1.5 mile roundtrip hike to get to/from the climbing area.  Ages 8 and up are welcome.

Please wear sturdy, comfortable hiking boots or sneakers, long pants or long shorts. Be sure to bring water and a snack.
