 me out and learn the basics of kayak safety and technique at Memorial Lake
  State Park. Not only is kayaking a great way to stay active\, but nothing
  beats the views and tranquility of floating on the lake. Kayak\, paddle\,
  and lifejacket provided. Meet at Lower Lot boat launch. Limited spots ava
 ilable. Prior registration is required and can be done by clicking the gre
 en button on this page.\n\n$5 (cash or check) donation to the Friends of M
 emorial Lake and Swatara State Parks during time of event.\n\nThose under 
 18 MUST be with a parent. Participants must be 12 years or older and able 
 to handle an adult kayak to join us. If interested in bringing a child und
 er 12\, please email us at qheist@pa.gov to check for tandem kayak availab
 ility.\n\nAll programs are subject to change due to weather or staffing sh
