Archery is a fun and engaging sport that dates back thousands of years. Today, it is taught not only for hunting, but as an outdoor recreational activity to kids of all ages. National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) has allowed us the chance to purchase archery equipment to allow the public to try their hand at shooting bow! We will be at the park office from 12pm to 2pm for visitors to try the sport and learn the basics. All ages are welcome, but it is recommended for kids at least 8 years and older. Each hour we will start with some basic safety instruction and allow participants to shoot several rounds.
