International Observe the Moon Night

Join park staff on International Observe the Moon Night to learn more about our planet's moon. We will learn about NASA's Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter and see some images it has taken of the moon. We will also learn about some of the interesting features of the moon that we can see from Earth, and some of the stories and myths that those features have inspired.

This program is free, but space is limited to 20 participants, so registration is required. Register by clicking the green register button on this page. Details such as meeting location will be emailed to you after you register. Please make sure to register as a group if more than one person is coming with you. Please dress for the weather, as we will be outside the entire time.

Programs are weather permitting, and may be cancelled due to inclement weather or low registration.

Please email RA-pointenved@pa.gov if you have any questions.
