As part of a continuing attempt to gain public feedback, Hickory Run, Lehigh Gorge, and Nescopeck State Parks will be holding a public information meeting at the Nescopeck State Park Office on November 19, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Park staff will provide a brief overview of the preliminary report as well as information on current and upcoming park specific projects. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and open discussion will be encouraged.
Presented in the preliminary report is a summary of results from the various surveys, along with proposed recommendations to guide the management of Pennsylvania state parks for the next 25 years. Public comment on these survey responses and resultant recommendations will be accepted online and in writing until December 31, 2019.
