Hunting as a Wildlife Management Tool
405 Sharpless Rd, Landenberg, PA 19350-0172
While some anthropomorphic animal stories have negatively shaped the way that society views hunting, when managed in a biologically sound way hunting has had a tremendously positive influence on wildlife and habitat. From direct establishment of many global parks and wildlife preserves, to license fees and stamps and special taxes on outdoor sporting equpment that go directly to work for land acquisition, research and conservation, hunting has long been a founding force in wildlife management. Join us to learn how hunting has historically benefited wildlife and how hunters have contributed to wildlife conservation more than any other group in history. Join UDEL wildlife student and Friends of WCCP volunteer Nicole for this free program. Reservations not required.
