Bucks County artist, Edward Hicks painted vivid stories of old Pennsylvania. In this afternoon of stories, history and art, students will travel back to an older Bucks County. Hear some of those stories as you spend the afternoon creating art inspired by Edward Hicks and his Pennsylvania friends. Be inspired by actual works of art created by Pennsylvania children, plus images of Bucks County by Edward Hicks. Leave with works of art, new ways to express your creativity and a new understanding of your local community.
We will be creating with paint, ink, wool and fabric. Please dress comfirtably in something that may get a little messy.
