 rnoon to learn about rock layers and how scientists use them to learn more
  about the land and its history. We'll talk about the three types of rocks
 \, how mountains form\, and then have fun with investigative activities th
 at involve studying candy bar "rock cuts" and taking core samples of playd
 ough plateaus. Activities involve reading and writing and are geared towar
 d upper elementary and beyond.\n\nSpace is limited\, so please only regist
 er the names of the children attending to make sure we have an accurate co
 unt for supplies. Registration closes the evening of April 27th.
