DESCRIPTION:This program is designed for homeschool or cyberschool students
  ages 7-14.\n\nFall has arrived\, and so has the beautiful foliage! Why do
  leaves turn different colors in the fall? Why do deciduous trees lose the
 ir leaves in the fall\, but coniferous trees retain their needles? What do
  animals do to prepare for a long winter? We'll answer all of these questi
 ons\, and discuss the science behind the changing of the seasons. We'll ev
 en throw in some tree identification. This will be an outdoor session\, wi
 th an easy 1.0-mile walk around our Day Use Area. Students should wear stu
 rdy hiking/walking shoes and dress for the weather outside. \n\n \n\nWe wi
 ll be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC).\n\n \n\nPlea
