Join a naturalist at 9 a.m. on select weekdays for hikes of varying length and difficulty. This year’s series visits trails on our public lands including state parks, state forests, and state game lands. Come out to get some exercise, learn about the area’s natural history, and relax in the fresh air. Hikes are free and open to the public. Well-behaved and friendly leashed dogs are welcome

MEET: Black Diamond Trailhead on PA-437 in Mountain Top

We'll hike 2 miles down and 2 miles back on the rail-trail, pausing to chat about the sights along the way.

Covid-19 Precautions:

-Space is limited, registration is required. For hikes with more than one date, please choose 1.

-Participants must wear a mask for the duration of the hike. Hike leader will also wear a mask. Participants must social distance as well.

-Participants must bring their own hand sanitizer.
