Join a naturalist at 9 AM on select weekdays for hikes of varying length and difficulty. This year’s series visits trails on our public lands including state parks, a state forest, game lands, land trusts and preserves. Come out to get some exercise, learn about the area’s natural history, and relax in the fresh air. This hike through Pinchot State Forest meanders through a spruce forest, around interesting rock features, and includes a scenic vista. The first half of the hike is mostly uphill with a fairly gentle but steady gain in elevation up to the vista. The rest is all downhill! Julian Maza, Service Forester for Pinchot State Forest, will join us and share his knowledge along the way.

Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. No registration required. Free.
