Join a naturalist at 9 AM on select weekdays for hikes of varying length and difficulty. This year’s series visits trails on our public lands including state parks, a state forest, game lands, land trusts and preserves. Come out to get some exercise, learn about the area’s natural history, and relax in the fresh air. TRAIL: Tannersville Cranberry Bog
LENGTH: 1 mile
TERRAIN: easiest *one very short hill with uneven footing

We will be hosted by the staff of Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center at the Tannersville Cranberry Bog. They'll lead a slow and educational walk on a floating boardwalk through the bog. Highlights include the Cranberry Creek, unique bog plants like pitcher plants and wild cranberries, and lingering fall foliage. Don't miss this one!
Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water. Registration is required for this hike. $6 cash.
