A day set aside to celebrate the natural and cultural history of the park. All day demonstrations of old time skills such as blacksmithing, logging with cross cut saws, the 24th Connecticut Militia regiment, live animals, crafts for kids, music and more. Talk with folks such as master gardeners, the DAR, recycling experts, the Denison House Advocates, PA Reptile Survey staff, Forestry, Nanticoke Conservation Club, and others. Special event times: 1:00pm-The Story of Frances Slocum, told by John Moore, historian and author; 2:00pm-Pocono Wildlife Center,live animal show ;3:30pm-The History of State Parks in Music and Song, presented by Van Wagner, musician, storyteller, and educator.
