The Eastern Hemlock, Pennsylvania’s state tree, has had an incredible history, inspiring works of Emily Dickinson, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and more. Join the park naturalist on a 3-mile hike out-and-back to a hemlock grove as we learn about this amazing tree and the issues they face today.  This is a difficult hike with steep inclines. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Bring water.
