Looking for some family-friendly Halloween fun?   

Join us at the beach area for activities, costume parade, and trunk-or-treat!   Meet at Pavilion 6 to register!

• 4:30 – 5:00 PM: Welcome and Registrations
  • Listen to the park naturalist give a brief overview of Bald Eagle State Park and the schedule of events for the evening.  Registrations for the parade and “Best Trunk” contest will take place during this time. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and liability forms will be signed before participating.
• 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Spooky Activities!
  • Fear Factor Challenges
  • Pumpkin Engineers
  • Night-Time Animal Activities
• 6:00 – 7:00 PM: Costume Parade & Trunk-or-Treat
  • Halloween isn’t complete without a costume parade!  Children and adults participating are asked to bring their own buckets or bags for candy.  (No political, religious, or potentially offensive costumes, please!)
  • Families should be prepared to walk up to 0.5 miles on gravel parking areas.
  • For a bit of friendly competition, participants will also vote on their favorite decorated trunk at the end of the parade!
