Halloween Haunt

This event is presented to you by Greenwood Furnace State Park in celebration of the upcoming Halloween. The event will take place on October 29th from 4pm-7pm. This event is FREE to the public and will consist of a Haunted Halloween trail where kids can walk through the beautiful but spooky trail of Greenwood Furnace State Park. After the trail, there will be s’mores accompanied with more activities which include a costume contest, pumpkin painting, photo booth, guess how many candy corn contest, spooky wildlife noise ID, and a step-by-step witches brew!

Our haunted trail will be kid friendly, consisting of Penn State students and volunteers along the trail to spook the children! The other activities will take place after the trail is completed so that everyone can participate in s’mores, the photo booth, the guess how many candy corn, painting pumpkins and finally when everyone completes the trail we will demonstrate a witches brew, spooky animal noises and finally the costume contest winners!

The haunted trail is a great way for Penn State students to interact with the community and further their studies in the field of event management. We are beyond excited to put on this event for kids from all over to come out and show off their Halloween costumes.
