Growing Up WILD Educator Workshop

This workshop is geared toward adults, specifically early childhood educators. Individuals must be 18 years or older to attend. 3 Act 48 Hours will be available for Certified PA Teachers. Registration online is REQUIRED to attend this workshop. There is a $15.00 registration fee that must be paid in advance to Bald Eagle State Park, via phone or in-person, to participate (details will be in the confirmation email upon registration).
Learn how to connect young learners to nature with hands-on, engaging environmental experiences by using the Growing Up WILD curriculum! Growing Up WILD lessons are suited for children aged 3-7 and offer exciting teaching ideas for incorporating nature-based exploration, art, math, outdoor play into early childhood education programs. Workshop attendants will receive a curriculum guide with over 25 standards-aligned lessons and printable materials.
This workshop is open to formal classroom teachers & informal educators such as naturalists, scout leaders, etc. Dress comfortably for both indoor and outdoor activities.
Lunch is not provided, please bring a lunch.
