Teaching About Water and Wildlife PD for Early Childhood Educators
Looking for innovative ways to engage young learners (ages 3-7) with nature?
Join the environmental educators at Kinzua Bridge for a combination Growing Up Wild and Getting Little Feet Wet professional development training for current and future early childhood educators. Both classroom teachers and non-formal educators are welcome.
The Project WILD "Growing Up WILD" activity guide focuses on encouraging a sense of wonder about nature, wildlife, & the world around your students, and the Project WET "Getting Little Feet Wet" activity guide explores the different aspects of water; all through hands-on, investigative, and easy-to-use activities correlated to standards.
Upon completion, all participants will receive both guides - the Growing Up WILD & Getting Little Feet WET and a completion certificate. 3.5 Act 48 hours are available for classroom teachers.
