Going Batty: Exploring the Bats of PA

It’s more important than ever that we protect our furry, flying friends and what better way to start then by learning about them? Join us at Pavilion 3 in the Shoaff’s Mill Day-Use Area where we’ll talk bat and then take a stroll around to look for them. We promise there won’t be any vampires present so you can leave your garlic and wooden stakes at home, but feel free to bring a flashlight! Walk will start at Pavilion 3 in the Shoaff’s Mill Day Use Area.

All programs are subject to change due to weather or staffing shortages. Please check the DCNR Calendar of events or Facebook page for cancellations or changes to programs. Severe weather, such as snow, ice, storms, or heavy rains will cancel most programs. If you’d like, you can leave your number with us and we can notify you of changes. If you have concerns or require special accommodations, please reach out to us at least 72 hours prior to the event at 717-567-9255 or email us at Littlebuffsp@pa.gov.
