DESCRIPTION:Join the North Star Outdoor Guides for a discussion of dark ski
 es\, a Native American Night Sky story\, a laser guided tour of various con
 stellations\, and telescope viewing.  Enjoy listening to various stories fr
 om Greek Mythology while viewing deep sky objects near the constellation be
 ing discussed.  Objects which may be viewed include planets\, nebulae\, red
  giants\, globular clusters\, galaxies\, and binary star systems. \n\nOn th
 e darkest nights of the year the park can draw hundreds of people. Reserve 
 your small group experience with North Star Outdoor Guides to ensure maximu
 m telescope time and a more individualized program. North Star Outdoor Guid
 es’ Dark Sky Telescope Tours are about 90 minutes.  We suggest that you arr
 ive at least 20 minutes prior to the program start time to locate your grou
 p and make yourselves comfortable.\n\nWe will be located approximately 200 
 feet beyond the amphitheater to the back of the field.  Bring a chair or bl
 anket\, a small flashlight (red cellophane will be provided to cover all wh
 ite lights)\, and dress in layers appropriate to the weather forecast.  It 
 can get cold up there on the mountain!\n\nPrepayment and pre-registration i
 s required (tax will be added at the time of payment).  Each person in your
  party must be pre-registered separately.  Registration will close at 3pm 2
  days prior to class (or when full). Contact the number below to prepay. Yo
 ur registration will not be final until payment is received.\n\nPricing: $2
 0 per person (maximum 16 people)\n\nWeather Policy: If weather or predicted
  overcast skies result in us having to cancel the program you will receive 
 a full refund. (That decision will be made by 3pm the day before the event.
 )  We will do our best to utilize weather forecasts and the Cherry Springs 
 Clear Dark Skies Chart (http://www.cleardarksky.com/c/ChrSprPkPAkey.html) t
 o pre-determine if a program will be possible.  However\, due to the fickle
 -nature of weather our best made efforts may be thwarted and the sky may be
  overcast during your scheduled tour.  In the event your guide is unable to
  show you at least 3 deep sky objects you will receive a coupon valued at t
 he fee you paid to be used towards a future program (good for one year).  I
 f preferred\, you can opt to receive an 80% refund in lieu of a coupon.\n\n
 Participant Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your reservation before 
 3pm two days prior to the event you will be refunded minus a 10% cancellati
 on fee.  No refunds are given for no shows or cancellations by the particip
 ant after 3pm two days prior to the event.\n\n**Please call for special pri
