DESCRIPTION:Take your classroom to the trail!\n\nLearn how to enable your s
 tudents to discover Penn’s Woods through an interdisciplinary set of les
 sons created by the PA Bureau of State Parks. Lessons focus on health\, fi
 tness\, trip planning\, map reading and identifying local trails.  Explore
  forest ecology and nature journaling. The lessons address several Physica
 l Education & Health standards as well as standards for Geography\, Scienc
 e & Ecology\, and the Humanities. Workshop attendees will have future acce
 ss to borrow the Go Teach Hiking Kit: 24 Trekking poles\, 24 Kelty Red Sta
 rt backpacks\, 30 Brunton Classic compasses\, lessons\, and more. \n\nThis
  course will provide you with 6.5 hours of ACT 48 hours. \n\nCost is $20.
