Panther Run Trail is the most scenic trail in the park, as well as the most physically challenging. This 2.3 mile loop follows Love run, intersects with the Mid-State Trail to climb to the top of the mountain, then follws the ridge line back to the starting point.
Points of interest include local history, geology, and the plants and animals of the park.
Proper footwear is required, and water and insect repellent are reccommended.
This hike is not reccommended for families with very young children.
