Go Birding! With the PA Society of Ornithology

Are you a beginner birder wanting to hone your craft, or an experienced birder hoping to spend a day with like-minded folks while trying to spot as many different birds as possible? If so, go birding with members of the Pennsylvania Society of Ornithology when they visit Prince Gallitzin State Park on Saturday, March 5th during their County-wide Spotlight of Cambria County!
We will start the day at 8:00am at the Prince Gallitzin Marina to scan Glendale Lake for waterfowl before visiting other access points to document as many bird species as possible.
This program is open to the public and birders of all skill levels of welcome. Some binoculars and spotting scopes will be available to borrow, or bring your own along. No registration required, just show up! We will visiting different areas of the park throughout the day. Free program.
