Calling all Girl Scouts, let’s celebrate our shared love for the outdoors, by joining park staff in a fun filled day exploring the natural wonders of McConnells Mill State Park! Discover the critters of the creek in a stream study of Kildoo Run, understand the history of the Slippery Rock Gorge on a geology hike on Kildoo Trail, and take a step back in time on a tour of the gristmill. This event will be run in a group rotation style, so everyone will be able to relax and enjoy all three activities offered. Please bring a lunch. All equipment and materials for each program will be provided. Pre-registration is required. To register call the park office 724-368-8811. All current health guidelines will be followed.
