Join the Friends of Kings Gap on Saturday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. for the Ghoulish Gallop 1-Mile Fun Hike/Walk, which will start with packet pick-up at the Kings Gap Environmental Education Center parking area, proceed in waves along a winding trail with ghouls and zombies along the route, and end near the starting point for the all-inclusive hot dogs, drinks, and s'mores. The entry fee is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family (up to 8 members!).

Individuals and families are HIGHLY encouraged to pre-register for this popular event. Each pre-registered hiker/walker will receive a white, logoed t-shirt to wear during the event and a chance in a grand prize drawing. (Shirts may be available for same-day registrants, but they are not guaranteed and sizes will be limited; besides, we want to make sure we have plenty of food for you!) 

Individual hiker/walkers or families of hiker/walkers will stop at designated goblin stops and devour gooey treats in the prescribed ghostly manner. Drips, splatters, mouth smears and hand wipes are highly encouraged on your fresh white shirt to scare away the monsters. We will present prizes for best t-shirt splatters!  Registration Packet pick-up begins at 1:00 p.m. Start times can be as early as 1:15.
