The PA DCNR Bureau of Geological Survey will open its doors at both of its offices from 2-4 PM on Thursday, October 16^th to celebrate Geoscience for Everyone Day. Come tour our Middletown facility and visit our libraries- we have one for books AND one for rock cores! Visit our Pittsburgh office to learn about energy resources and Pennsylvania’s geology hidden below the ground. There will be hands-on activities for families. The friendly geoscientists at both offices will be available to discuss current projects and answer your Pennsylvania geology questions. Wondering about a rock you found? Bring it in!
