Have you ever wondered about the history of our region before the Nolde Family, before the Lenape people, before any humans at all? What can we learn from studying the local rocks in our forests and waterways? Join geologist Sim Suter from the DCNR for a fascinating look at the geologic diversity of the Nolde Forest and surrounding Berks County in this Adult level program.

Participants will meet in McConnell Hall for an indoor presentation on our local geologic history and then, weather and trails permitting, will hike into the forest to examine some of these rock features up close and in person. Please dress for the weather.
