Garden Harvest Day

On Sunday, October 1st from noon to 5:00 p.m. celebrate the bounty of autumn with the Friends of Kings Gap, Cumberland County Master Gardeners, and Kings Gap staff. Admission is free although nominal fees will be charged for all “make and take” items.

A variety of activities for all ages will feature:

• Leaf Printing
• Apple Cider Pressing

• Pumpkin Painting
• Alpaca Wool Carding, Spinning and Weaving Demonstration – Live Alpacas!
• Bird Feeder Building
• Wheat Weaving
• Children’s Games and Crafts
• Corn Shelling and Cracking
• Hay Rides
• Honeybee Keeper
• Self-guided Mansion and Garden Tours
• Selected Craft Vendors and Food Stands
• Mum and Pumpkin Walk

Music from 3:00 - 5:00 PM by Indian Summer Jars!

Bring your appetite and spend an afternoon in the fresh mountain air. All activities will be held in and around the mansion area.
