The first part finds Ray as Captain Jack Splash, the Water Dude, singing water related songs. After a short break, he will return as that scalawag song “bookaneer” Captain Rust Bucket. Both shows are filled with folk and popular music, presented as only Ray can, with a family-friendly Vaudevillian flair. Ray’s show is geared for kids, right down to his ever-popular animal karaoke.
Fun on the Beach day is sponsored by the Friends of Greenwood Furnace, Whipple Dam, and Penn-Roosevelt State Parks, a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the parks and helping to fund projects and programming. Stop by and find out the ways in which you could lend a hand. The food concession at the beach will be open normal hours: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
