Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities at Black Moshannon State Park.  Learn new skills, such as ice skating and snowshoeing.  Take a walk to look for winter signs of wildlife; then try cross-country skiing. Try to make a snow sculpture, and enjoy sled riding on the sledding hill.  Ice bowling, ice mini-golf, and curling will also be set up.  Most events will take place near the Environmental Learning Center or the Ice Skating Area in front of the Boat Rental.    Join the Friends of Black Moshannon at the Environmental Learning Center, where they will be selling Black Moshannon T-shirts, sweatshirts, medallions, and nature guides.   

You can warm up at the Environmental Learning Center, the Pavilion 4 Warming Hut, and at the fires located at the Ice Skating Area and near the Environmental Learning Center.

The no snow/ice date is February 17.
