***Meeting location: 1635 River Rd, New Hope, PA 18938 {The parking area is by the canal in the upper section of Washington Crossing Historic Park across River Road from the Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve. The entrance drive is at the intersection of Aquetong Rd and Rt. 32/River Rd, two miles south of the town of New Hope.} ***
Come join us on this moderately paced 4 mile towpath trek to view the full "Corn Moon" as it rises in the east. We'll listen for owls & keep an eye out for other nocturnal critters while learning about the history of the Delaware Canal.
We will meet in the parking lot for the Thompson Neely house then walk north to New Hope -- we will then turn around at the edge of town & head back the way we came. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring a flashlight or headlamp in case of cloud cover.
