January’s full moon is known as the Wolf Moon, because wolves were more likely to be heard howling on clear, calm winter nights. Join us for a 2-mile night hike to discover which nocturnal animals sound-off in our area. Hike is Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Erie Bluffs State Park. Register by clicking the green button that says 'Register'. Please register by January 16. Hike is limited to 20 participants, please register each person individually. Warm layers and waterproof boots are recommended. Program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff.
For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM.
