PA Biodiversity Educator Workshop

The diversity of life is astounding and important to the health of people and the environment. Yet, biodiversity at all levels – genetic, species, and ecosystem – is a current issue poorly understood. In this workshop, participants will explore PA’s biodiversity, experience hands-on activities, and examine local and global issues relating to biodiversity. All participants will receive the PA Biodiversity guide. The activities modeled in this workshop are best suited to teachers of grades 5-10, however the specific background information about Pennsylvania species & ecosystems, and the hands-on exploration of forest and wetland environments are of value to teachers of all grade levels, K-12. Register NOW. All COVID safety protocols will be followed.
