Canceled -- From Land to Stream: Early Childhood & Elementary Educator Workshop

Amid concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19, all public programs, events, and trainings in state parks and forests are canceled through April 30.
Except for the parks and forests that have been announced as closed, state park and forest facilities remain open.

Are you a pre-service teacher, in-service teacher, or non-formal educator looking for new ways to engage early childhood and/or elementary students in environmental and watershed education?

Participate in hands-on activities and discover resources from Stroud Water Research Center and Pennsylvania State Parks designed for our littlest learners (PreK-5), including an introduction to nationally acclaimed Getting Little Feet WET and Growing up WILD curricula! Activites are held partly outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in. Pizza dinner provided. 2.5 hours of Act 48 credit available.

Where: Kutztown Elementary School, 40 Normal Ave, Kutztown, PA 19530

Cost: FREE for pre-service teachers (undergraduate students), $25 for all other participants
