From Grain to Bread

Explore delicious breads that are tied to local history! Stop by anytime to use a hand grinder to grind grain, like the machinery in McConnell’s Mill ground farmer’s wheat into flour. Look for the Gristmill Baker and his crew of volunteers, and join them for recipes and fun demonstrations of how different breads, even buckwheat pancakes, were baked during time periods of our history.  Stop by the Mill Courtyard anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Park at Kildoo Picnic Area or Point Parking and hike down to the mill, or limited ADA parking available beside the courtyard.
