Friday at the Forks of the Ohio Homeschool Series - 7th and 8th grades

Except for the parks and forests that have been announced as closed, state park and forest facilities remain open.

 

Point State Park invites homeschool students in the 7th and 8th grades (and their families) to participate in a series of in-depth classes related to history and environmental studies. Classes will be geared to students in grades 7th and 8th, but families are welcome to tag along with their student. Classes will be both hands-on and minds-on, and will include student led discussions, group work, and take-home assignments for students to continue their learning after class.

Program is FREE but pre-registration is required. Please register online by clicking the register button.

Class will be cancelled if there are not at least 8 student participants registered.

*Until further notice: Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, all participants must wear a face covering or mask, practice social distancing during the program, and meet the requirements of the current Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Deptartment of Health for Mitigation Relating to Travel    (https://www.governor.pa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/20201117-SOH-Travel-Mitigation-Order.pdf). All participants, including PA residents, need to meet the conditions of the order. All programs are subject to change.*
