Come to the campground and we will dig back 400 million years to discover who lived at Little Buffalo in the Devonian Era, when Pennsylvania was covered by vast seas. We will be located along the shale bank in the extra vehicle parking lot to the campground. When driving up Black Hill Road, make a left at the firewood shed and go straight past the modern cabin (log house) and pond.
Visitors may take 1 or 2 small fossils home with them. You may fossil hunt in the park on your own, but please leave fossils for others to discover (Leave No Trace!). Anything of significant historic or monetary value cannot be taken from the park.
All ages are welcome. Pets that are leashed are also welcome. If you have concerns or require special accommodations, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
